Review every bodycam from the scene at once
A stop or arrest with several officers can produce hours of body-worn camera video from different angles, plus dash cam and nearby CCTV. Watching each file one after another takes days, and it makes it hard to see what happened at a single moment. Coherence puts up to eight feeds in one grid on one timeline, so you can watch the same moment from every angle.
Up to eight feeds in one grid
Bodycam, dash cam, interrogation room, street CCTV and residential surveillance all go into the same grid. When the files carry timestamps, the feeds stay in sync on a shared playhead. When they do not, each source runs on its own clock.
Transcripts next to the video
Audio is transcribed and translated with speaker labels and timestamps. The transcript moves with the video, so you can scrub the footage and read along, search for a phrase and jump to the moment it was said. Continuity breaks are flagged.
Large sets of footage, such as 100 hours of bodycam or 20 hours of interrogation, are transcribed and translated in hours. Every line links back to its place in the recording.
Who is on screen
Faces are matched across cameras and voices are linked to speakers. Officers are identified from the bodycam burn-in, so you can follow one officer through every feed. Plates, vehicles and places are extracted and cited to the timestamp where they appear.
Comparing the footage with the report
In many cases the useful question is whether the video matches the paperwork. Coherence surfaces places where the offense report, testimony and footage pull apart, and Miranda analyzers flag the timing and completeness of warnings. Each observation is cited to both sources and left for you to judge. Coherence suggests and never concludes.
Clips for court
Cut clips from any feed and add them to the exhibit binder with their timestamps. The binder works offline, so you can present from it in a courtroom without wifi.
Chain of custody
Every video file is hashed when it arrives, so a change to the file can be detected. Customer case data, including video, is stored in Texas on Azure.
Questions
How does the multi camera viewer work?
Lock every bodycam from the scene to one timeline and watch the moment from every angle at once. Up to eight feeds fit in one grid, and any video can go in: dash cam, interrogation room, street CCTV or surveillance. When timestamps are present, the feeds stay in sync; without them, each source runs on its own clock.
Can I search what was said on the bodycam?
Yes. Audio is transcribed with speaker labels and timestamps, and translated when needed. You can search the transcript and jump straight to the moment in the video.
Can Coherence identify officers in the footage?
Officers are identified from the bodycam burn-in, faces are matched across cameras, and voices are linked to speakers. Every identification is cited to the timestamp so you can check it.
Where is the video stored?
Customer case data, including video, is stored in Texas on Azure.
