Security built for privileged work
Defense discovery holds privileged communications, work product and sensitive information about clients and witnesses. This page describes how Coherence handles that material. The privacy policy is the binding version.
Where case data is stored
Customer case data is stored in Texas on Azure, in the Microsoft Azure South Central US region in San Antonio, and is processed in Texas. You can ask us at any time to confirm where your data is stored.
Private inference
Coherence runs its models on its own Azure infrastructure. No outside AI API is used.
Encryption and access
Case data is encrypted at rest, with TLS 1.2+ for connections to Coherence. Every account has role-based access, and MFA is required for all admin accounts.
Privilege and work product
Every item is labeled work product by default at ingest.
Chain of custody
Coherence hashes every file at intake, so any later change to a file can be detected.
How we use your data
We do not use evidence or case materials for model training, marketing, analytics or anything other than providing the service you asked for. You can request export or deletion of your data at any time; the privacy policy sets out how deletion works.
